Athens Area Habitat is turning 22! In celebration of 22 years of service to the Athens community, Athens Area Habitat is hosting a birthday party benefit concert on August 20th. Everyone is invited to the The Caledonia Lounge for a night of good company, great live music, and FREE birthday cake!
The Celebration will feature live music by: Atlanta's Trances Arc. The doors open at 10pm so come out, bring your friends and get ready for a night of fun and dancing.
The Race for the Dream 5k

Each year Athens Area Habitat holds the Race for the Dream 5k to create a sense of urgency for the American Dream of homeownership. This race brings together members of the community to support Athens Area Habitat's efforts to provide affordable housing in Clarke, Oconee, and Oglethorpe Counties. The race starts at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church at 8 am with a scenic finish by the lake in memorial park. Registration is $15 per person before August 25 and $20 after. This fee includes a race bag with a T-shirt and a water bottle. You do not want to miss out on this great way to celebrate labor day so save today by pre-registering today.
